Tulle Tutu

I wanted a tulle tutu for Avery's first birthday with a matching onesie or shirt. But everyone was charging $50 or more. So after doing a little pricing. I decided to make my own. I found several tutorials online and I picked one and went with it. I also found a cute iron on that was the same colors as the decor and theme. Here is the almost finished project. I haven't hung up the tutu after I trimmed the tulle off the bottom. but I'll post a picture of Avery wearing it. Enjoy!
I did a dark blue tulle, light blue tulle, lavender, lime green, sea green and pink. then the pink on top was a satin type fabric. It's pink with small silver specks on it that looked like bubbles. :) (under the sea theme)
She didn't really like the feel of the tulle. So she kept her arms up. :) But she looks so cute in it. I wanted to do a headband, but she doesn't keep things on her head or in her hair.

Fathers Day Candy Cake

Well with a husband who wont tell you what he wants and very little money to spend. Sometimes you have to get creative with gifts. I saw a candy cake  idea on pinterest and went with it. So here is James' fathers day candy cake... and $5 bin movie. :p
It was easy and fun to make and James really liked it. You cant really tell by this picture. So you're just going to have to trust me. ;)
