Easter Food Fun

I did a few things to help out with the Easter meal preparations. The most labor intensive I think might have been the jello cups I made. They took me 2 days to complete but were lots of fun. I also did some baby chick and baby chick bums as well as rice krispie hollow eggs with M&M's in them. Again I didn't take pictures of the step by step process, I guess I should really do that.

Spring and Easter Craft

As another holiday was fast approaching and we still had a lot of scrap wood. I thought it would be fun to do a Spring/Easter craft. I cut the blocks to the various sizes that I wanted then sanded them. My best bud and partner in crafts came over and we got to work. We painted all the blocks with a base coat of white and then made sure that the edges had at least 3 coats of white and the faces of the blocks only had 1 or 2. We were going to be painting them a different color. She wanted hers to be different than mine and since hers was going to be more labor intensive we decided to both work on hers first. I didn't do a very good job at taking pictures of her project as it commenced, but here is the final outcome. (sorry about the pictures, I couldn't get some of them to turn the right way.)
This is a single white lily, it's suppose to represent the Savior.

I helped her do a lot of the big painting, the sky and grass, and putting on the vinyl. Then I was in charge of the flowers, bunny, grass, etc. She had to leave it with me because it was getting so late in the night and her poor little girl was fast asleep on our couch. :p So I worked on it the next day and got it finished. I think it turned out really well and I am fairly pleased with it. the blocks I decided to do wasn't near as intricate, but I like them all the same. :)
Both sets of blocks are reversible with Happy Easter on one side and Welcome Spring on the other. I am very pleased with how both sets turned out and I am excited to try more things in the future.
